I was born in Amsterdam in 1965. As a child I was creative, especially in drawing and painting.
When I was older I decided to follow courses to develop my skills as a painter.
I started a correspondence course and thereafter I was taught by a painter in Amsterdam for 5 years (1992 - 1997) were I learned many techniques of painting under the system of the old masters in painting.
To be a little loose and to develop my own style, I decided once a week to paint under the guidance of a teacher in Amstelveen.
Through many production and demand for my work there was an exhibition in January 2007 which will certainly not be the last. Regular I am painting commissioned.
Especially portraits are popular in which expressions as well as character traits I possible try to show.
I work mainly with oil paint on canvas,in a realistic and sometimes surrealistic way, occasionally abstract I can find myself the best in vibrant colors.
